Thanks, 'Laizer, very nice. Material, even, for tomorrow's class. I appreciated his last line, "Use music to elevate, not to tranquilize." Worthwhile to consider, even momentarily, that aspects of our culture(s) could be attempts to tranquilize us, or for us to tranquilize ourselves.
Sleeping people are more maleable, of course, as well as more dead.
